The Compton kids were thrown into turmoil when they discover that parents, Jon and Jan Compton, are leaving for a full year sabbatical from Jon’s job. Likewise, Jon and Jan were embarking on an adventure that took them around the world, a trip that would change their lives forever. Little did they know the politics in the Middle East could be so dangerous a threat. Their Sabbatical around the world changed them forever.
Family turmoil takes a new twist in this story about the coming of age of sibling rivalry, and adventures around the world for Jon and Jan.

Wasn't sure I'd like this book, with current world happenings. Was a great surprise that it drew me in, held my attention, prompted some fears and even some tears! I love Wendy's writing style, it's suitable for any age that may be interested as it's interesting, easy to read with respect for the characters as well as for the reader. I just finished reading the book " Sibling Sabbatical " and as with Wendy's previous books, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very easy reading...a little humor, romance and adventure. Wendy and I go way back and am amazed of all her talents. Hope her book writing continues to thrive and wish her the best.
